Keeping it Pithy...Michael Steele is In

Michael Steele made the decision to run for RNC chair. He spent several days calling members of the RNC to get their support. I think he'll be the winner we're looking for and a start on protecting America's future and greater economic security come 2010 and 2012.

Michael Steele to run for RNC Chairmanship

Newt throws his support behind Michael Steele. Foxnews has the story:

Michael Steele, former lieutenant governor of Maryland, has decided to run for the chairmanship of the Republican National Committee and is in talks with Newt Gingrich to win the former House speaker's endorsement, FOX News learned Tuesday.

Steele declined to comment, but a source close to the situation said Steele would announce his candidacy as early as Thursday.

The source also contradicted a report in Tuesday's Washington Times that Steele and Gingrich were competing for the RNC post.

"There is no fight," the source said. "This tension between Michael Steele and Newt Gingrich is totally fabricated and, in fact, Gingrich and Steele are working together to create a new strategy for the direction of the GOP."

In a statement issued by the former House speaker, Gingrich said he was not interested in seeking the post of Republican Party chairman.
So far so good.

Steele(y) Replies on the Future of the GOP

Via Hot Air, Allahpundit discusses Michael Steele and the "gathering storm." Plus, a vote between Newt Gingrich and Michael Steele and the results look very Coleman(y). Cast your pick!

Michael Steele's article in the WSJ, "Listen. Adapt. Be Positive." So, what's he sayin'? Is he going to go for the RNC chairman or not? Reaganites, unite! Michael plays massive kudos to the Gipper saying he made being a Republican "cool."

Washington Times sez we should pick Michael Steele for the RNC post.

Steele and Newt duking it out? I guess burning up the telephone line to get support from the 168 RNC members for the RNC chairman post qualifies as "duking it out." I agree with this guy saying we need a fresh start and that means Michael Steele. No baggage, please.

What should Steele's banner be for 2012 should he run for President? "Steele 2012"? I'm sure that'll set the liberal crowd on fire.

"Ronald Reagan made it cool to be a Republican"

Here's a quote by Michael Steele in The Wall Street Jounral a few days ago,

"Ronald Reagan made it cool to be a Republican, for God's sake"
Indeed. The "coolness" factor was there with Palin during her veep run with McCain. McCain wasn't the cool guy, Palin was. She has, as Ohio Sen. George Voinovich said on November 3 at a rally, galvanized the conservative base,

"She has energized our base like I've never seen,"
I'm sure Palin, Steele and few others will manage to energize the conservative Republican base over the next few years leading up to the 2012 National election.

Obama to reverse Bush' Executive Orders

Gateway Pundit has the information. But the question I have is will reversing 200 of Bush' Executive Orders will require Congress to pour more money, money that we don't have, into more programs designed to help address "global warming?" It was estimated that addressing "global warming" (a hoax) in the United States will cost tax payers and companies (who will no doubt pass the cost over to middle and low class consumers) approximately anywhere from two to five trillion dollars in a "cap and trade" scheme that will essentially go nowhere.

Michael Steele seen as a "Dark Horse" for 2012

Pun not intended but here's an article speculating who'll be the upcoming 2012 GOP contender for a shot at the White House.

Politico has more on Michael Steele on getting him to be the RNC chairman.

Remember Michael Steels's speech on the RNC floor and makes his first nationally televised event seen by millions? Noticed the chant "Steele! Steele!" that lasted nearly a minute? And you can tell he speaks much more eloquently and clearly than Obama did in 2004 on the DNC floor.

Makes you wonder what will be in store for 2012.

Who is Michael Steele

Man of Steele. Who is he? Check out the 10 things you may not know about Michael Steele. And, most importantly, does he want to run for 2012? And for the first step in that direction is to appoint Michael Steele as the RNC chairman although he is the current chairman for GOPAC.

My President is Black and White

Indeed, and ain't it the truth? Barack Obama who is to become the first ever black and white President of the United States. Since he's neither fully black nor white but a mulatto. In fact, there is an organization that prides itself on being a mulatto and connect to others who are a mulatto.

I was inspired by this one t-shirt to come up with a blogsite called "My President is Black and White." It was an obvious admission that this race to the White House was all about race and nothing about experience. It was an admission that people voted for a black guy who is really black and white.

Now, this has nothing to do with race or about racism. In fact, for the 2012 race I'd support Michael Steele, a former Lt. Governor for the state of Maryland, who is truly black and with no gray areas to contend with on who he is and what he believes and stands for.

As for Obama, I just think he hasn't been telling the truth about his tax plan or anything else. Eventually the middle class people will see an increase tax on the middle class. Just wait and see. It'll probably come before the end of 2009 for the new fiscal year. His socialist nature will soon be revealed for those who were too blinded by Obama's "blackness."

With an Obama administration we'll see for who he is where his true colors will come through. His issues will become black and white or clear, of course, pun intended. Once Obama won the race on Wednesday the stock market tanked that saw some of the biggest two day drop in 21 years. What didn't help when Obama went around saying he's gonna tax the rich. Guess who are the rich people? The ones who are pulling their stocks out before Obama can get his grubby hands on those people and tax them for their capital gains.

The many issues between true conservative Republicans and liberals are certainly black and white.

It's black and white when tax cuts do spur the economy while raising taxes depresses the economy.

It's black and white when Obama say "Spread the wealth" to mean "I'm a socialist and you will obey" versus capitalism to mean that if you work hard, you will get your rewards and not be punished for it.

It's pretty clear amongst conservative Republicans to see the stark differences and know what really works. Liberals don't understand this, it's a black and white thing.

ADDENDUM: Oh, and I'll try and keep everything short and pithy
